Thank
you!
I have blogged many, many years. When I started,
little did I know about where this would take me, and how big meaning it would
have on my life.
This blog, or rather you, dear you, on the other side
of the screen have been here with me in good times and in bad times.
Blogging every day in Advent belongs to my Christmas… There
have been few times when I have not blogged, and it has made my Christmas time
so much less. I know many of these blog posts are too thin in content to publish,
really, but that is life.
Writing every day in Christmas time, is a place
for me to stop and to take a few minutes to myself. I get to pull my feet up, usually I make myself a cup of tea (it
being evening), find a quiet spot and then I sit and think… try to hear what it
is that I need to say, to write about. I read your comments (I am so sorry that
commenting is so difficult and impossible too, but it seems there is nothing I
can do about it, all the settings should be right…) and I feel that I have a
friend to talk to.
I am so happy you are here; thank you for coming, thank you for talking with me and to me, thank you for the encouraging words.
Here finally is the gingerbread house, all hung up
with the birds. My daughter finished them.
Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, until then
Wool with you,
Lene

ReplyDeleteThank you Vera and a Merry Christmas to you too, xx.
DeleteDear Lene- I appreciate your blog posts; even the "thin" ones. I live in Minnesota USA and very much enjoy the letters from the Arctic circle.
ReplyDeleteYour esthetic is infinely charming and your color sense so refined. Please keep blogging for a long time- even saying you took the dogs for a walk is fun for us who don't have dogs or beautiful forests to walk them in.
Wool with you and happy new year, Marilyn

DeleteIt is always lovely to read your blog posts, but your closing is, I think, the most lovely: Wool with you. How did you ever discover it? Happy Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy Christmas to you too, xx. (I combined the words knit or wool with different phrases and came up with this, it rhymed in my head. Happy accident really!)

ReplyDeleteIt's Christmas Eve and I am bundled up and drinking milk instead of hot tea, because I am eating delicious homemade gingersnaps delivered this afternoon by my Occasional Helper and his wife - for whom I am planning the Special Knitting Projects. It's such a quiet, joyous Christmas for me this year. Thank you for being a part of it.
Wishing you and yours the most wonderful holiday and time together, Lene.
