It is time to

wish you all far and near merry celebrations!

Everything is more or less done, the tree is up, the candles ready to be lit up. I was knitting (again!) last night until 0130 am and felt at peace with my world. We have a thin layer of snow, the ground is white. The temperature is below zero. All is well. I hope all is well with You as well.

PS. I just have to mention this one small thing: December 24th is a very special day to me. 17 years ago on a Sunday night I had my first born. Happy birthday to you Dear!

  10. Your firstborn is just two days older than my lastborn. Hope she has a great birthday today! I bought the makings for LittleBit's cake when I was out shopping yesterday.

And 17 years ago the Berlin Wall came down. I remember sitting in my bed, listening to Leonard Bernstein and weeping for joy.

    Merry Christmas from Texas!

Buon Natale (Merry Christmas) to you and your family! And as we say in Italy at the end of the year:
    Buona fine e buon principio!
    (happy ending and happy beginning).
