It is time to

wish you all far and near merry celebrations!

Everything is more or less done, the tree is up, the candles ready to be lit up. I was knitting (again!) last night until 0130 am and felt at peace with my world. We have a thin layer of snow, the ground is white. The temperature is below zero. All is well. I hope all is well with You as well.

PS. I just have to mention this one small thing: December 24th is a very special day to me. 17 years ago on a Sunday night I had my first born. Happy birthday to you Dear!

  9. Your firstborn is just two days older than my lastborn. Hope she has a great birthday today! I bought the makings for LittleBit's cake when I was out shopping yesterday.

And 17 years ago the Berlin Wall came down. I remember sitting in my bed, listening to Leonard Bernstein and weeping for joy.

    Merry Christmas from Texas!
