Here, when it gets really wretchedly wet and rainy, I say it is ideal weather for the 'hot press' (or airing cupboard as the English call it). When I was little I used to crawl into among the warm dry sheets and towels and curl up in the cosy dark. Still feel like doing that sometimes.
