New sweater on the needles

Thank you for your comments on the sweater dress. I felt little bit burned-out after intense knitting with 3mm needles, but that did not last for too long... as I did cast on for a new sweater last week.

Take these beautiful yarns...

strand them together with 4,5mm needles and knit and knit away...
The fabric is lovely, soft and light as a cloud. Take inspiration from Espace Tricot's Turtle Dove and knit and knit and knit...
And knit. Eventually it will be another sweater to keep the cold away.

Two more sleeps for Stephen West's Mystery KAL. I am not sure if I chose the right colors, too late to change now.

Northerly winds and freezing temperature fuel my needles. I love you October!

Wool with you,
Lene

  1. What a beautiful fabric you are creating with that lovely yarn. The detail on the sleeves is lovely. Stay warm.

  2. dearest Lene, I missed following you for quite some time. But we are both back and your work is as appealing as ever - just delicious! I am waiting for a paycheque so that I can purchase your sock pattern - your longer cuff has always looked sooo warm - I have to make some of my own. Like yourself, there are always socks on the needles. Just wanted to tell you that your blog has inspired me in so many different ways ... your love for wool and the tender pups and the wonderful white vista of Finland! Your stuffed cats, your sensibility - all too wonderful for words. One day I will see the northern lights! Please continue inspiring- you are rare and precious!
