Thank
you for all the comments on the upcycled coat! The whole time I was redoing it,
I was at an edge and was not sure at all if I would succeed or fail
spectacularly. Anyway, since that is off the table, I have dug out an oldie
from the closet, this time it is a cardigan that I blogged about November 2005,
when the blog was brand new. It has serious problems (mismatched button bands on top of the list) and you will hear all
about it next week but in the meantime…
Ruusu
wanted me to blog about her socks.
They
are beige, with a touch of cream around the tips of her toes, very firm, warm
and comfortable…
And
yes, washable too.
(If
you were wondering about the pair on the right, that is Regia Arne and Carlos
Design line col 3760 combined with dark blue Regia col 324, 2mm needles.)
Enjoy
the end of the week,
Wool
with you,
Lene
Ruusu's socks -- too cute! Love your socks as well. I think the Arne and Carlos line is such fun.
ReplyDeleteDear Lene,
ReplyDeleteWhen I see your blog on my morning list, I smile like a child! I am always happy to hear from you, and to see what you have created.
My Koko was prepared to be jealous of Ruusu's socks; but she has a similar pair of her own! Thank you for making my morning!

I have spent this evening reading the history of your 'found' coat. Missed dinner. Enjoyed every bit of your journey. You have created a great work of art!

loved knitting your lilleput, too!
I love Ruusu's socks. Beautiful color and they fit perfectly! Hope they keep her warm all winter. The other socks are pretty too. I like that you make the cuffs of your socks longer. Hope your feet stay warm all winter too! Happy knitting to you! Kelley Secrest
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see Ruusu included in such a sweet manner. Very attached to the socks, I see. Thank you for sharing a bit of your world with all of us.
ReplyDeleteI love that dog's style! I have two dogs and they also like to model everything. :) aren't dog socks amazing in winter cold, though? I like yours, too, of course. :)
