Small needles and thin yarn is my best medicine. Big gauge might have even stirred up more waves, so tiny gauge was the only possible solution. I cast on, not thinking too much, not even having plans to finish this knit. I found only small ball of this red yarn, I have a feeling that there has to be more somewhere, but since I could not find it, I said to myself, well... then I will just make one mitten. I just need to get this red and white on the needles as soon as possible.
What a bliss when I finally settled into my corner of the sofa (I have a special place where the light is just right) and watched tv holding small needles and feeling the yarn quietly move through my fingers. I keep calling this little knit, fingerless mitten maybe, Scandinavian Christmas in my mind. I know I have read that somewhere not long ago... maybe there even is a pattern called that.
I was in town today and happened to see this owl. There was no way I could have walked past him, he practically jumped into my shopping bag. I look at his face and wonder what he is saying to me...
