Quiet Day

"Belle Ciel"
Lambspun of Colorado
65 % Wool 20 % Silk 15 % Alpaca
little over 600 meters, z-plied beauty

This is all I have today; I don't know what to write. The mittens are coming along just fine. I am knitting, I just seem to lack words. Hope they come back next week, but if not, I'd rather be knitting than talking anyway. Maybe I have knit my mouth shut. I better go and look into the mirror to see if there in my face is a row of purls where a mouth should be...

  3. how beautifully spun that is. the swirling blue reminds me of storm clouds over the mountains... makes me homesick for Colorado.

    So very lovely, Lene.
Apparently my voice is also 'knit up', that happens, eh?

  7. Gorgeous yarn! Beautiful spinning and plying. It's the knitting that we all have in common, so we understand your feelings for just wanting to knit. We'll all be here when the words come back.
