  2. Indeed - 'one long night', but they will get shorter - even if very, very slowly at first! Thank you for the little 'carousel' of angels. We had one of those when my children were little, and somehow it got lost in our many moves. So nice to see it again!

I too look forward to the days lengthening again, though it will be nearly 2 months before it is really obvious. The warmth of family and glowing candles help a lot!

  6. It is a beautiful night, but soon it will be over. Thanks for sharing your advent calendar this month. I have been showing your blog to my family as they come for the holidays. I hope you have a very happy Christmas. An extra bone for Tiina from me, OK?

Thanks for your wonderful blog and pictures. Your long night picture is the sunset view we had from our long flight from Amsterdam to Seattle on the 19th. Janet (using my daughter-in-law Susan's computer)

  8. I also love this angel-carousel. My parents had one when I was a child. I loved the sound.
Cristmas time must be wonderful in finnland.
