I have been in love with this yellow little thing! It has been almost impossible to put it down at all and it is almost done. Maybe tomorrow or the day after I can bring you the details... but now I will go and embroider a few more little flowers so you have to excuse me!
But this is not all --- I have really been having good and happy times in more ways than one, go see Jo's blog!
How cute flowers! I'm looking forward to see it all! And what a beautiful picture on Jo's blog - you look so happy, both of you.
ReplyDeleteLene - I am so happy that you and Jo got together. Isn't she just the nicest and dearest person to share time with?
ReplyDeleteIs that little project - looks like a nice bag - made from the yarn you dyed with the birch leaves?
I did read Jo's blog. The pair of you look so cute and happy together. I'm glad you had such a good time.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are so cute.I love them

Whatever your little yellow thing is...it's a beauty, love the little posies sprinkled about.
ReplyDeleteI'm off to read about your adventure with Jo right now!
Great! How lovely for you both.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to knit with a friend and have that fabulous view!
ReplyDeleteIt looks as though you two were having so much fun, I wish I had been there too, and I'm sure all your other readers would agree with me! Can you imagine if we all got together at your place? I wonder how much knitting we would actually get done? I'm curious about your little yellow thing. Can't wait to see what it is.
ReplyDeleteDo you and Jo have any idea how jealous I am that I was not there with you??? You look like girls, happy girls, chatting away on the porch of a summer cabin in the woods, sharing little secrets. I have always looked at happiness not as a permanent state, but a series of wonderful vignettes, like pearls, which you collect and string together to make a lovely necklace, a thing of great beauty. These moments were obviously another pearl to be added.
ReplyDeleteOh, I wish I could have been there too! :-)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the rest of the garment (?). The flowers are so pretty and it looks like you had a great visit.
ReplyDeletevery cool
ReplyDeleteI am so delighted for you. What a wonderful gift for both of you to have the chance to spend time nurturing your friendship. It's the the dearest thing in the world to have a friend come visit! You and Jo look like heart sisters.
