Ooh, so beautiful!!
You have a gift for color and design. Breathtakingly lovely!
lovely, and made with so much care and love!:-)
Wonderful color choices for Katrina. Can't wait to see the whole thing.
How are you able to make such a wonderful embroidery? I tried this - inspired from your mittens - but mine is so amateurish against yours!Franziska
So beautiful! You have inspired me to try this soon but I am curious about something. Is there a way you transfer your designs onto the knitted piece or do you free hand your embroidery?
I love your joyful embroidery...it is a delight to my eyes!>^..^<
Oh, that looks dreamy. Happy Sunday.
What a perfect way to spend a Sunday! Stunning work, I can't even imagine what the whole sweater will look like.
Hei Lene, you always make everything soo beautiful!I really enjoy reading your blog!Hansu, your "co-laplander"
What spectacular frost and ice photos in your previous post! You captured the beauty that I love about winter. I also love it when the lake freezes hard before much snow falls, and you can ice skate on clear, crystal ice!! You live in a fairy land. And your red sweater with embroidery will make you a perfect winter princess/queen/frost-fairy!
I've never seen such lovely embroidery. The colors go so nicely together. What a nice way to spend a Sunday.
Beautiful!! I hope you'll mention the yarns you use for embroidery.
Breathtaking! I love how chain stitch mimics the knit stitches. I can see the penciled drawing to the right of your work. Is it an original design? Where did you take your inspiration from for the embroidery? Also, did you just decide to get going on the cuffs, or does this mean that you are finished knitting the entier sweater? So many questions! But really, you are teasing us with such a gorgeous picture and such a brief comment. :-)
An incredibly beautiful peek it is.
Another gorgeous knit by Lene.
Wow, so beautiful and so inspiring. The picture really shows the wonderful detail.
That picture took my breath away. Your knitting is awesome. Katrina is beautiful!
Your embroidery is beautiful! The picture of your frozen lake is equally beautiful, it's very peaceful looking.
you are such a wonderful, creative and inspiring artist! - my first reaction was just "ooooohhh". thank you very much for sharing - you brightened my sunday!
Oh my gosh. I have never seen chain stitch embroidery. It's beautiful! And I see your pencil sketches beside the sweater. You are an artist, but we all knew that already! I loved your sweater before the embroidery, but now it will be spectacular. Everything you make is so beautiful. I, on the other hand, have the "closet of shame" where I hide the stuff that didn't turn out, or didn't get finished.
Mmmm..exquisite.You've got a good eye and are a very subtle colourist. And I love your ruminations on the seasonal aspect of wearing colour.
absolutly beautiful ! Your work is beyond words
That's amazingly beautiful. Your work is so inspiring!
That is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing it. Would you be so kind as to share the techniques you use and how you do it? I can't figure it out from the picture. Thank you so much. Marlyce from Windsor, Ontario, Canada

So incredibly beautiful. Very inspiring.
Girl you are amazing!
How gorgeous! And your pictures of the lake in your previous post are breathtaking!
Your sweater is stunning all by itself, but when you add the embroidery it's beyond words. I do so wish I could see it (and you) in person!
so gorgeous....just perfect
This is beautiful!
Gorgeous - I hope we see more soon!
