  6. So beautiful! You have inspired me to try this soon but I am curious about something. Is there a way you transfer your designs onto the knitted piece or do you free hand your embroidery?

  12. What spectacular frost and ice photos in your previous post! You captured the beauty that I love about winter. I also love it when the lake freezes hard before much snow falls, and you can ice skate on clear, crystal ice!! You live in a fairy land. And your red sweater with embroidery will make you a perfect winter princess/queen/frost-fairy!

  14. Beautiful!! I hope you'll mention the yarns you use for embroidery.

  15. Breathtaking! I love how chain stitch mimics the knit stitches. I can see the penciled drawing to the right of your work. Is it an original design? Where did you take your inspiration from for the embroidery?

Also, did you just decide to get going on the cuffs, or does this mean that you are finished knitting the entier sweater?

So many questions! But really, you are teasing us with such a gorgeous picture and such a brief comment. :-)

Oh my gosh. I have never seen chain stitch embroidery. It's beautiful! And I see your pencil sketches beside the sweater. You are an artist, but we all knew that already! I loved your sweater before the embroidery, but now it will be spectacular. Everything you make is so beautiful. I, on the other hand, have the "closet of shame" where I hide the stuff that didn't turn out, or didn't get finished.
